Our story Like many of you I was having problems drying my clothes. My dryer was getting hot but the clothes were still taking forever. I could not figure it out. So reluctantly I called the appliance repairman. It took him about five minutes to tell me my vent was completely full of lint. It turns out the vent had never been cleaned in over 20 years. How could I have overlooked this problem. After doing some research I discovered most people are completely unaware of this potential fire hazard.
